@tbrizitsky: Мозилла не белая и не пушистая, но профайл юзерский лежит локально в открытом формате с документированными алгоритмами шифрования. А синк-протокол потенциально поддерживает чужие сервера, так что через год-два я лично жду опенсорсный релиз синк-платформы также, как это вышло с опенайди у Фицпатрика. Причём я могу оказаться слоупоком, и серверная часть Mozilla Weave уже лежит где-то в свн или на гитхабе. Так что тут бы надо понимать про то, чем одно решение отличается от другого. После бана в гугле, фб или твиттере, все связанные с ними аккаунты и приложения перестают быть доступны. Первая крупная авария в Твиттере это хорошо покажет, вызвав невероятный вой у миллионов людей, которые не только не смогут писать короткие посты, но и потеряют доступ в тысячи сервисов, иногда mission critical. (Откровенно говоря, меня удивляет необходимость это проговаривать и пояснять.) - × × ×
