По-моему, вполне убедительный, проблема не в ноутбуке, и не в вебмейле, а в том, что кроме пары редких веб-сервисов, которые относительно нормально отлажены для работы в браузере минималистичными пакетами (почта, ридер, поиск-сёрфинг), всё остальное — это ад и кошмар. У меня из стационарного браузера на быстром ноуте гдокс-тексты (не таблицы даже, не говоря о презентациях/графике) вылетает раз в десять-пятнадцать минут, а на нетбуке гдокс через час работы умертвляет браузеры. И тезис тут в том, что тонкий клиент — смерть, и надо идти по нормальному приложенческому пути, по которому идут таблетки — мелкие приложения с 1-2 функциями, которые при необходимости всё нужное заберут из инета, но *и без него могут работать*. Гугловские приложения пока не могут, даже с offline storage и пр. - × × ×
