На заре времен (где-то в 2003) у Тошибы был очень концептуальный тончайший ноутбук на флеш-памяти. Razor-thin. Мой первый HP (2001) был не тоньше нынешнего Air, правда, шел еще с док-станцией, на которую перебросили дисководы и большую часть портов. Но было же! И Sony крошечный Z-серии, тоже был легче Air, при наличии CD на борту. Так что было, было. - Prometa

Да, там в статье о том и говорят, что «было, но вместо того, чтобы допилить серии до массового применения, их бросили и решили «потребителю этого не надо». А как только Макбуки дошли до таких же показателей *и в то же время стали массовым продуктом*, остальные заныли «а-а-а, у нас всё это было, а почему не мы, почему не на-а-ас!» Почему-почему. Потому что тупые ушлёпки, которые до сих пор нормальный мультитач и прокрутку на тачпаде сделать неспособны. - × × ×
