“The 2,000 U.S. respondents participating in the study were aged between 18-64 years, and were asked questions on their tablet usage and habits, in order to uncover who’s really using them, where they take them, and just how far they’ll go to keep them. Some additional findings are outlined below: * 15% would give up their car for an entire year to be able to keep their tablet; that would equate to 45 million fewer cars on the road, meaning less traffic and a whopping 270 million tons fewer greenhouse gases (CO2) emitted per year. * Tablets are now the second most fought over device in the living room, just behind desktops/laptops, and ahead of TV remotes. * A third of men frequently take their tablet to the bathroom. 40% of women never take the tablet to the bathroom. * A quarter of women are happy to give up sex (25%) to keep their tablet. ЖЖ переписывает фотохостинг, а с ним умирают и уровни доступа, которые Скрапбук делил с основным ЖЖ. Остаются только public/private. Никто, конечно, ничего не заметит.

Во-первых, они не умирают. Просто из-за того, что старый Скрапбук был отдельной системой, уровни доступа не совпадают и мигрировать каждую группу друзей каждому юзеру в отдельности слишком сложно. Поэтому всё, что было доступно кастомным группам, станет приватным (ну не в паблик же это выносить). Новый Скрапбук позволяет использовать группы прямо из ЖЖ, причём настройки безопасности у альбома и у картинок внутри него могут быть разные (например, альбом приватный, а картинки - для друзей). - smallq
Во-вторых, дофига людей этим возмущается. В частности, тем, что всё, что будет при миграции перекинуто в приват, не будет нигде перечислено, т.е., судя по всему, предполагается проверять всё руками. - smallq
В старом скрапбуке у меня варианты для настройки совпадали с жжшными, вроде. Ну, вот это всё на скриншоте, например — жжшные френдгруппы, которые у меня созданы были в семаджике (кроме последней). «До фига людей» в случае с ЖЖ очень относительная категория, и они, конечно, хорошо, что возмущаются, будет здорово, если парни не станут всё, закрытое на группы, сваливать в приват, иначе много старых ссылок побьётся. И разные настройки безопасности у альбома и картинок, кстати, были в старом скрапбуке тоже. - × × ×
