Сделать экран до края, а на краю разместить сенсоры специально затем, чтобы чувствовать руку, держащую аппарат по бокам, и игнорировать её, кажется мне образцовой победой "дизайна" над здравым смыслом. и раз пошла такая пьянка, читать с очка (если это не плотно закреплённый goggle) в метро или на ходу будет отвратительно - когда тебя потряхивает, движение очка на доли миллиметра равносильно движению девайса в руках на сантиметры, и это жопа (при этом руками ты можешь корректировать, а очки нет) - кот от котов
С гласса и аналогов сейчас всё плохо делать, кроме видеофиксации и какого-то примитивного видеовывода. Экраны в том числе и социальная штука, да и отчуждаемое (не снятием с головы, а складыванием в карман) устройство куда удобнее. Короче, про гласс и речи нет, и не о нём мы сейчас. - × × ×

9000, вы рассказываете известную историю, но не с того конца. Айпод не был уникальным, а вот айфон стал одним из первых в продуктовой категории «безклавиатурного». Как и айпад стал первым портативным планшетом. Гласс — это новая продуктовая категория, и он будет становиться лучше, ёмче, удобнее, пока не станет привычным, как очки или бт-гарнитура. Но лучше идеальных очков, лорнета, гарнитуры или пенсне по форм-фактору гласс не станет, а из этого уже и вытекают все его потенциальные достоинства и недостатки. ¶ Если хотите, можем легко вернуться к этому спору через пять лет, закинув в календарь напоминание с почтовыми адресами. В динамике вещи, о которых я говорю, видно лучше. И вечные, и преходящие. У гласса как формата есть одно только будущее — сесть сначала на роговицу (в виде линзы), потом с неё уйти на сетчатку, а потом встроиться в нерв. Но это ещё лет 15 (потому что пока нечем — привычные методы слишком инвазивны, и устройство нужно будет собирать изнутри, какими-нибудь наноботами в кровотоке). ^ очень похоже на мой стиль съёмки, только у меня камера сотен кадров за 10-15 секунд снимать не умеет (да и если умела бы, я бы утомился выбирать), но подход абсолютно этот: выстрелить очередью в проходящего мимо, и выбрать потом в компьютере. "Style icon Dita Von Teese debuted a 3D-printed dress at the Ace Hotel on Monday, born out of a collaboration between designer Michael Schmidt and architect Francis Bitonti. Schmidt, well-known for designing Lady Gaga's famous bubble dress, worked with Bitonti, a Brooklyn-based architect who renders designs with new technologies in unusual material — this time to make a 3D-printed dress from hardened powdered nylon that still allows for movement. NewsBlur + Fluid + немного CSS, и с каждой неделей в интерфейсе остаётся всё меньше и меньше кнопок, полей и цветов, а трёхпанельный режим оказался удобнее, чем когда-либо прежде.

Digg хорош для пяти с половиной фидов в подписках, фидли хорош для журнально-неважных подписок, которые не нужно читать подряд, и можно просто окинуть взглядом и идти дальше. The Old Reader не знаю, для чего хорош, потому что он медленный и ничем мне не обязан. - × × ×
